CoralWatch is a community, and our biggest assets are our people
We are bigger, stronger, and more influential because of the diverse skill sets and talents that our Ambassadors generously share with us.
Perhaps it’s Marcins background as a research scientist in new technological interventions in human health that lends him to be able to so effectively think outside of the box. But hand this man a challenge and wait to be rewarded with innovative solutions. I’d like to introduce you to a man with an incredible skill set and whose generosity knows no bounds, our Ambassador Marcin Keilar. We asked Marcin how do you make a difference in the fight against Climate Change, he said
“Monitoring and data collection are important parts of citizen science programs such as CoralWatch. I have been monitoring the reefs and the coral bleaching events using my underwater camera gear, which allows me to create short movies demonstrating the impact of climate change. In my opinion, videos are a powerful tool in the fight against climate change.
Outreach and public involvement are very important to me. I believe that connecting with society is critical to increase engagement and thus to generate real lasting impact. We are truly powerful!”
